Product Information

Zero Interface delay line transducers are highly damped, low frequency removable delay line transducers designed for use in the contact testing of plastics and composites. The soft delay material can be coupled to a smooth composite surface without the use of couplant. The delay lines used on these transducers are acoustically matched to composite materials, allowing for efficient energy transmission into the test piece and also increasing near surface resolution. The low frequency, broad banded signal provides exceptional penetration of thick, or otherwise difficult to penetrate, sections.

Depending on size, ZIP Transducers have either a top mounted BNC connector or a right angle mounted Microdot connector.
